Limited Warranty

Issued by TOUGH Interiors & Design Build



Warranty Coverage


  1. Residential Projects
    “Lifetime” refers to the life of the product while it remains owned by the original residential customer.

  2. Commercial Projects
    Commercial customers receive a one-year limited warranty, covering both materials and labor.

  3. Labor Warranty
    TOUGH Interiors & Design Build warrants all labor performed to be free of defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.
    Customers must report any suspected defects within the warranty period.

  4. Covered Defects Include:
    • Lifting or Peeling
    • Gaps or Separation
    • Uneven Installation
    • Loose Boards or Tiles
    • Improper Transitions or Moldings
    • Improper Cuts or Visible Seams

  5. Remedy
    TOUGH Interiors & Design Build will, at its sole discretion, take all steps deemed reasonable and necessary to remedy any valid defect reported under this warranty.


Exclusions – What This Warranty Does Not Cover


  • Physical damage, structural movement, or substrate failure
  • Vandalism or modifications to the substrate/coating
  • Mechanical impacts, burns, flame exposure, chemical spills (solvents, acids, brake fluid, gas, or oil)
  • Environmental conditions including windstorms, lightning, or saltwater exposure
  • Damage from nails, screws, plant growth, or animal activity
  • Abuse, neglect, or poor maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear or natural fading
  • Cracking in the substrate due to shifting or expansion
  • Hydrostatic water pressure or moisture vapor
  • Oxidation or weathering-related discoloration
  • Existing or future cracks in the substrate

Note: Repaired areas may differ in color or texture from the original floor.



Warranty Terms


  • Warranty applies only to original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • Applies only to surfaces installed by TOUGH Interiors & Design Build.


Liability Disclaimer


TOUGH Interiors & Design Build’ liability is limited to the total fees paid for the installation.
TOUGH Interiors & Design Build is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of profit or business interruption.



Surface Condition & Safety


  • Surfaces may be slippery when wet.
  • TOUGH Interiors & Design Build is not liable for injury from slipping or falling.
